With the fall travel/recruiting season over December allows us to slow down a bit and run on-site admission programs in area high schools and take some well needed vacation to spend time with our families.
Earlier this month my family spent a week in Florida. We took our daughter Gia, to meet the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse (sorry Ranger Bear, in Gia's world you fall 2nd to "The Mouse"). Everything in her world right now is Mickey, so it was perfect time to take her. All the parks were also decorated for the holidays so it was even more beautiful than usual. Gia was a trooper - she did all the rides and her reaction to Mickey and the characters was priceless. We had more fun seeing Disneyworld through her eyes than all the other times we had been there. The vacation was extra special because my parents (Gia's Grandparents "Poppa and Nonni Sicuro") were able to join us for the trip as well.
Upon returning from Florida we did some onsite admission programs at Indian Trail Academy in Kenosha, Horlick High School in Racine and Muskego High School in Muskego, WI. Congrats to two recent admits below Meggie (left) and Chela (right) from Muskego. Welcome to UW-P girls!
After a few days of successful onsites it was back home for a week for a snowstorm and the Christmas holiday with family. Here's a picture we took of Gianna for our annual holiday card:
Here's wishing you and yours all the peace and happiness in 2009!
