Congratulations, everybody!

Commencement is Saturday, staff members are putting the final touches on the Sports & Activity Center. The Alfred and Bernice De Simone Gymnasium always looks fantastic for the ceremony. If you attend, maybe take just a moment to remember Al De Simone who dedicated so much of his life to making UW-Parkside a great university.

How did I finish?

As you can see from the photo, I had difficulty finding my name on the list of finishers in Saturday's Bear Paws for a Cause trail run and walk on the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.

Pumpin' Circumstances

Hey, the title of the famous song, Pumpin' Circumstances, reminds me that graduation is just a few short final exams away. Last night I was at the Chancellor's Late Night Breakfast. Just a guess, but after all the sugary maple syrup consumed with those flap-jacks, I would say there were plenty of students who were able to stay up studyin'!

Training ... sir!

Oh, yeah, I'm in training this week for the Bear Paws for a Cause event Saturday on the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.

We're raising money to support athletic scholarships and scholarships for Sport and Fitness Management majors.

C'mon out! Run the 4K course or walk the 3K course.

Time is running out, but you still have tonight and tomorrow night (Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2) to see the Music Man. I snuck in last night (do you realize when your a mascot how hard it is to sneak into anything) and the show was -- as my friend Tony the Tiger would say -- Grrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
