Well kids, the somewhat fairly certain potential for rain this evening has postponed my visit to the Beloit Snappers. I say postponed because next week we're going to set a new date. My buddy Snappy - he was talkin' some trash about me not wanting to get my fur wet - I said, HEY ... you're a turtle! You live in the water. So what's a little rain to you!? Anyway ... he invited me back so we're gonna set that up next week.

- I was at the Beloit Snappers game. Had one "shell" of a good time with Snappy, the Snappers mascot.

- A big deal on campus when Governor Jim Doyle and some friends (including former Green Bay Packer great George Koonce) stopped by to encourage eighth graders to sign the Wisconsin Covenant.
