... a really long drive off the tee at the Baseball Golf Outing. Check out the three photos from the outing especially the one with me teeing off ... no ... especially the one with me and new baseball coach Joel Weaver. We were discussing whether to hit and run to stay out of the double play if you have a power hitter at the plate. Oh, yeah, he knows his stuff.

- I was at the Beloit Snappers game. Had one "shell" of a good time with Snappy, the Snappers mascot.

- A big deal on campus when Governor Jim Doyle and some friends (including former Green Bay Packer great George Koonce) stopped by to encourage eighth graders to sign the Wisconsin Covenant.
