Thanks to the additional students who stopped by Senior Send Off today! They took care of some business in preparation for graduation.
In about five weeks, these folks will be the newest members of the UW-Parkside Alumni Association!

No, we're not going on a trip...it's time to get the December graduates ready to go! Today and tomorrow are our Senior Send Off days. I caught some of the action on film:
There are different 'stations' to visit, including the Career Center; Cashier's Office; Financial Aid; Liberty Mutual insurance, who offers discounts for alumni and Central Valley Studios who will take formal graduation portraits now and the 'walk across the stage' photo at commencement. Not pictured here are the Registrar, Bookstore for cap and gowns, Josten's for invitations and class rings and the Alumni Association (hey, that's me!)!
There are also refreshments. Steve McLaughlin noted that this helps him hone other skills should the Vice Chancellor for Student Services/Dean of Students gig not work out!
Our own Mary Xiong from Office of Multicultural Student Affairs is graduating with her MBA! For that achievement, she got to don the Big Cap! Yay, Mary!
Yay! to all of our graduating seniors! More to see tomorrow, so stay tuned!
....if the bookstore didn't have windows, this would not be such a problem! BUT, they got More new merchandise in! I got (another) fleece. This one is Different than the other one! A lot different!
There is a ton of new stuff with appliques and just great use of our logos! You've Got to see this stuff!
It leads me to think that perhaps the Alumni Coordinator needs a clothing allowance! Don't you agree?

UW-P played UW-M last night at the annual exhibition game held at the US Cellular arena in Milwaukee. We didn't win, but our guys gave a good run!
We also had a team of alumni join the fun at half time for a 'shoot out' against some UW-M alumni. Would you believe they Tied! Twice! Unfortunately, we'll have to settle this next year, because there wasn't enough time to continue! Thanks to Gary, Jim, Dennis and Todd for giving it their best 'shot'!
Always have to give a shout out to my buddy Ranger Bear too. He was there in full force...
(and to the UW-M student who made reference to RB and Teddy Grahams....we'll be back, you bumble bees!)
Thanks to all of the alumni, students and friends who attended the game. I may have mostly seen the backs of your heads from where I was sitting, but it was great to see you none the less!
