....about a excellent new event coming this Spring!  Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 9!

The HPEA Event Management class is coordinating a 4K Trail Run/Walk on our amazing (and nationally recognized) Wayne E.Dannehl Cross Country Course!  This event will raise money for Sports Management and Athletics scholarships.

This is still in the early planning stages, but the details here are firm, so please stay tuned for more information.  Keep that date open and join us for some fresh air and UW-P camaraderie!

A Grand Evening

We had an excellent turnout for the Annual Meeting last night!  A special thanks to everyone who attended!

It's was especially exciting because we did the ceremonial ribbon cutting, and were the first to use, the brand new, and beautiful, Alumni Room in the newly renovated Student Center!  It was fun to be at the entrance hearing the 'Oohs' and 'Aahs' (it was fun prior to that to see folks trying to sneak a peak!)

We welcomed new board members:  Tyson Fettes '07, Heather Miles '02, Jim McPhaul '00/MBA'05 and Chris Sorenson MBA'06.  We're looking forward to getting 2009 off to a great start with them!

*Please note that there are board openings each year.  If you are interested, feel free to talk with me, or any past or present board member, about it and keep the third Tuesday in January open to attend the Annual Meeting!

There is more to say and there will also be photos too (since we were SO fortunate to have Five photographers on hand...Thank You!)...so visit the blog again!

Alumni Association Annual Meeting

Please join us on Tuesday, January 20 for the unveiling of the Alumni Room in the new Student Center and for the Annual Meeting of the Alumni Association -- our chance to recap the past year and inform you about what's ahead for our alumni!

There will be refreshments and mingling at 5:30pm. 

The ribbon cutting and meeting will begin at 6:00pm.
